My Story

Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I Graduated from the Culinary Institute of Virginia in 2015. From there I worked at Colonial Williamsburg in many different culinary positions. After that, I moved on to Waypoint Seafood and Grille and was mentored by Chef Hans Schadler. While at Waypoint, I had the opportunity to cook for Ozzy Osbourne and Richard Petty. Executive Chef Hans J. Schadler savors a culinary career that spans more than 45 years of cooking for multiple Presidents of United States, heads of state, royalty, dignitaries and countless hotel and resort guests from around the world. ​


From there I moved on to The Williamsburg Winery where I was hired to take over their Banquet Program, whereas before I arrived they outsourced with catering companies. In 2017 I was hired as their Banquet Chef and I continued to thrive. While at the winery I executed all corporate events, weddings, marketing events, diamond resort events, and concerts for up to 2,200 people. I cooked for many celebrities while at the winery including: Jason Mraz, LeAnn Rimes, Andy Grammar, MAX, and Hanson. ​




Back in September of 2022, I decided to soft Launch my Small Business Called: Personal Experiences with Chef Taylor I am a traveling personal chef in the Hampton Road area! I travel all over Virginia and North Carolina and provide one of a kind experiences. I offer the following services: small intimate dinners for up to 20 people, cooking lessons, Office parties (appetizers), picnic services with a local vb company, chef curated charcuterie boards, and festival services. I travel to my clients homes and bring everything: groceries, pots, pans, knives, and cutting boards. There will also be printed menus for the day of. I do all the dishes and clean up the kitchen when I’m done as well. My vision for my business is to offer one-of-a-kind unique experiences in my clients home that you can’t get anywhere else.
